I love your dialogue, the way it bounces like real conversation. Can we just take a minute for the ginger kitten? I adore them they are my favorite animal since my first cat, aptly named Ginger, who I truly believe was an angel not just a cat. Back to your writing, always enjoyable. I sense something looming on the horizon! I am amazed that you can just keep producing chapters like this, poems work for me but I cannot keep up the momentum for chapters, that is where I always fail. I admire you for that and this amazing work of course kind regards Meia xx

I'm sorry, but this chapter is just too short and you still aren't getting onto the point of the story yet. You aren't writing about the painting and how it's going to be recovered.

#1 This isn't a chapter. The chapter is divided into four parts and this is only one part of it. #2 Earlier I wrote plenty about the painting. #3 I need to define the characters before I go on. #4 Not every post is going to be exciting and discuss the painting. #5 I notice you write poetry so really don't understand how to write a novel. #6 Thank you for dropping by.

Hello, Barbara, I loved the scene with
the little cutie.

Shana and Emily have a good relationship.

This is a great chapter, moving the story along.

Blessings,
Margaret

Good morning, Barbara
Excellent continuation. The more I read the more I know what drives your characters. As I've come to expect the flow, dialogue and interaction between characters were spot on. Enjoyed.

Take care and stay safe,

Ray

Sweet scene with a cute kid. She is one more way Anderson can wiggle his way into Shana's heart. Though I'm sure his billions and charm and kindness are plenty! :)

I love this story line and can not wait to read more. I see no need for any changes. Just keep on writing with your talented pen! I commend you on you work and hope someday to achieve some little amount of this talent. Love the imagery! Hugs....

Barbara, you succeeded here in cementing Shana and Emily's relationship over playing puzzles and baking cookies. Even Emily's questions about kosher is instructive. This is a transitional chapter designed to build character and relationships.

My favorite scene here was when Helen tried to make Shana feel at home in her culture by cooking Kosher:

"I'll have you know there's not one piece of pork or shellfish on this cart. Matter-of-fact, I researched kosher foods now I know what to fix."

This shows a lot of care and respect for people of different cultures. Shana, accustomed to living in a non-Kosher world, is warming to live her faith and culture.

Your prose, dialogue, and descriptions are smooth. I found one omission:

"I won't tell you the rest until you finish (the) puzzle."

Thank you for sharing your entertaining chapter.

This was a relaxing fun chapter, considering what the story is about. I found it entertaining, and learnt more about Shana's food preferences.

"I bet we can arrange that. I'll talk with Helen." Jane added a piece. (")There are only two pieces left." She held them up. "Think you can put them in?"

I have challenged myself with cleaning my college son's room. I am a glutton for punishment. I force myself to do 1/7 of it daily. Thank you for the kind review.

Great chapter again. I love the interaction with Emily. I know my wife would have too. So sad God never gave us kids. Only one suggestion on this round. Talking to a kid I know but...finish (the)puzzle." I put up my one and only 1 act play again today. can't remember if you are a blonde hehe.
