Hello Debi a good day to you. As always I hope this finds you well. you scared me when I first saw this I thought he had passed, so glad that's not the case. As a fan of Jaybird1 myself, pardon my French when I say DAMN you nailed that. I couldn't have said it better myself. I agree with every word. Great tribute to such an inspirational poet. I hope I have the desire and ability to still do this if I reach his age. Have a great day!

Nomi, this poem was as much from you as it was from me. I included this whole FanStory family, because truthfully God put this in my heart to first of all read the poem, and react accordingly to his beautiful words in his latest poem. And the cool part was that Jay and I never had any contact before, but I ask God everyday to let me be a blessing to everyone I am in touch with and God answers how He sees fit. Speaking of God's Blessings, you my friend have been one to me from day one!

Thank you for the kind words that I hope Jay is reading from the awesome FS family. He responded so kindly to the poem and by now he should know how many wonderful friends he has here. This was truly a connection made by God, as He intervened, when I tried to write something else.

Pam I thank you so very much for the lovely comments about Jay, as well as the poem meant to honor him. The last thing I ever expected was getting 6 stars for it, however he is the one is deserving of them.
You will be happy to know that he did respond to the poem with such gracious comments and class. I will always remember how I felt when I read his awesome words. Thank you once again my beautiful friend!
