Enjoyed this one, Sally! I'm a homebody, too! And I think I know most of the greatest hits of Simon and Garfunkel by heart. I didn't know Daughtry but when I listened to the song, it sounded familiar. Thanks for sharing!

Excellent songs, Sally. The one by Simon and Garfunkel is especially sweet.
I'm a bit of a recluse at times.
I liken my apartment to my comfort zone.

I grew up with Simon and Garfunkel and bought their albums and listened to all the words which had great meaning, great tunes that bring back many memories, a fine post Sally, love Dolly x

Hello Sal.

I do like Simon and Garfunkel. They had several songs that I like quite a bit. my favorite would probably be Bridge Over Troubled Waters.

I remember Daughtry from American Idol. He was working in an auto dealership in the parts department before he became famous. I knew a guy that met him at the car dealership.

I'm not familiar with the second song about home, Sally, but I think I like it. Homeward Bound was always one of my favorites, and tomorrow I will be homeward bound. Thanks for sharing.

Beautifully written my friend, I wish I could plays these without waking my wife, (she's lying silently sleeping by my side.) it's winter, but getting warmer now, must be cooler there! S & G were my wife's favourite duo, especially "Bridge over troubled water" beautifully written Sally, thank you for these songs, blessings Roy

I believe I owned/own all of Simon and Garfunkel's albums = my entire college career wrapped up in their lyrics... Probably my favorite duo of all time... Such meaningful lyrics.

The song you've selected to represent HOME is excellent. Home by Paul Simon is one of my all-time favorites. I remember it well, because I was actually living out of state when it became a hit, and I could completely relate to the words. Thanks for sharing and stirring an old memory.

Hi Sally, I used to clean the house and have this song blasting...one of my favorites...but I love Simon and Garfunkel...and Daughtry has an amazing voice...for a change my sweet friend...I am home...
