Sounds like a beloved Fanstorian? One of the benefits of this site is the camaraderie while at the same time it can be one of the downfalls. Now we all have enlarged our circle of "friends" that one day we will have to say goodbye to.
Very nice tribute

This is a lovely tribute to Mastery. I, too, enjoyed his series of crime stories and his life story--I purchased three books on Amazon some time ago. He will be missed by many.

Clever little piece. I'm sure you're in this story somehow. A neat description of some characters that had or have lived of value. I like the ending, in the arms of Christ.
Thanks for the writing!

nicely penned tribute to a dear friend. In this day and age, we all need to stay connected to our friends wherever they may be. I have had a regular weekly zoom session with some of my oldest friends. I hope that we can re-unite next year. Until then the weekly zoom sessions keep us all sane in an insane world.

A fine entry to the tribute book--Bob's wife will be well pleased. This is witty as well as poignant--I am not as familiar with his work though I know it/he was well-respected.

Comment from Gloria ....
Excellent Limerick Suite in tribute to FanStory's Mastery. He will be sorely missed by many, but his legacy will live on in his significant body of work, and the rich enduring relationships he made on FanStory.
My sincerest condolences to his FanStory friends, and to his family, and thank you for sharing such a fine tribute. :))

He was not only my trusted teacher and mentor, he was also my friend. Today my pen bleeds the ink that i would otherwise have used to write something upbeat. My heart only feels dark and morose thoughts at the loss of a true legend. R.I.P. my friend. May you master the unknown.

This poem is a lovely tribute in remembering Mastery. I didn't know him
well but he welcomed me to Fanstory with encouragement. The author's
words are praising, descriptive, creative and ended with a peaceful last
line. The poem flows and connects well. Thank you....Maria

Bob will be missed by so many. He was my mentor and had always kind words to suggest and correct me in a positive way. His writing was loved and admired by all. This is a wonderful tribute to Bob. He will be gone from our sight and never from our hearts. RIP, Bob!
