This so describes the real estates wins and losses here in the New Orleans area where change keeps coming like hurricanes in an active season. To add to the mix some cash buyer shows up, bids over asking price. Seller takes money. Be out by next Friday. Then what you bid on is tied up in tangles. I hope I can share it on my friend's time-line.

Hey - New Orleans... my place of origin (wink, wink!)! ;) But, look at the variations this way: you definitely never get bored, yeah? ;) I certainly had fun with this one, Jean -- so glad that you did too! ;) :) Thanx for stopping by and be sure to drop in again some time: you know the front porch-folio is always open!! ;) Take care out there in your corner of the universe! ;) Yvette

A very fast pace story filled with laughter. Your uniqueness of blending the decor and setting of the house, plus there was that mystique throughout the story of how it ended. very good.

This is a funny dream come true. Lol. If only that could actually happen! I enjoyed your dialogue only entry. It was easy to read and it didn't get fighting between speakers. Nicely done. Congrats on placing in the contest!

Such a great story that I'm sure we would all like to have happen to us. I guess I would have to pack the wife's clothes and tell her later.

Fiction or not a fiction, it is a fun piece of Dialogue Only Writing and congratulate your getting the second place.
You have many dialogues that aren't finished because the other character cut in so it's more natural. I should try to do that.
Well done.

I could actually picture this as a skit on the Carol Burnett Show with Tim Conway as the husband. This was a fun read and will be getting my vote. Very nice job. Good luck in the contest.

This is absolutely hilarious! I could see where it was going after the matter of price came up, but the poor husband really got blind-sighted! You've got a great imagination and sense of humour. Well done!

Very clever piece of writing for the Dialogue only contest. It is good humoured and well-written, and the reader is able to enjoy the dialogue briskly passing from one to the other. Well done.
