I’m waiting for my ride home. I’m getting out of here. I’ve been here too long and I hate it. The place is backward!”
I tried. I met the people, blended in with their lifestyle, even managed to understand them. It didn’t work. My report will say that this place is unsuitable.
I can see it coming. It’s bright lights telling me that it’s time. I listen for its welcoming call.

I answer back “Ninga, ninga!” My human skin slips away as I slither into my ship and set coordinates.
Goodbye Earth. I will not see you again.
